The Day Care Center at St.
Paul’s will be a separate building which is also currently included in the Building
Program for St. Paul’s. The Center would be established to provide excellent income
to St. Paul’s and be a tremendous “feeder” to the Parochial School. The
Parochial School and the Day Care Center could be run either as joint or separate
enterprises.

Schools Visited

From the initial
research with local Christian and Parochial Schools it was found that these schools all
have shown a marked growth within their first five years. Many now have waiting lists. The
following schools were visited and/or interviewed as a part of the initial assessment:

- Saddleback Children’s Center - Saddleback
- Saddleback Valley Christian School - Mission

Next Steps

Upon initial approval of this plan
by St. Paul’s Parish Council and the Parish General Assembly a more detailed
assessment and business plan will be developed. This plan will chronicle the development
and operational potential and liabilities associated with an endeavor such as this. In
addition, a complete income prospectus will be developed in order to assess the potential
of this enterprise. Findings of the assessment will be shared with the Parish Council and
the General Assembly. Moving forward to implement any plan recommendations, based upon
findings of the assessment, will require a final vote and approval by both parties. |

Use |
It is also important to note that
the facilities which are designated for use by the Sunday School and for all of our
Religious Education Programs are the same facilities that would be used for the Parochial
School. An additional building would not be necessary. |
